Myles Ahead!

Myles Collins is set to become the youngest member of the HRS CRG Junior Max team as he reaches his 14th birthday in January 2009.

2008 was a good first year for Myles in Junior Max and a brace of wins and podiums at club level have demonstrated some good promise from the youngster.

Following this early success, 2009 will see Myles progress to the Super 1 National Championship, and further develop his race craft with the new team and exciting new Dark Knight CRG Chassis.

Hi World - My name is Myles Collins.  I am 14 years old and my passion is Karting.  I race in Juniormax and race on a CRG Dark Knight Chassis with a 125cc Rotax engine which is capable of nearly 75mph. A littlє bit morє about mє.

If anyone knows Lewis Hamilton. He races in formula 1. He is my hero. I wish to be like him. He started off in karting just like I am now. To get somewhere in karting you have to enter a race series championship.  He won several championships in karting. I hope to get somewhere near! He then worked his way up to cars. Just like me,once I am fourteen I might be entering the Sax Max championship. Then hopefully work my way up. I would also like to do the British Touring Cars (BTCC). All this is a lot of money but thanks to my sponsors: www.thecomparisons.com and www.thetradingfloor.co.uk I have been able to race for a few years now and have the right equipment to be competitive. This year I am racing in the Super1 Championship with the great team named HRS Motorsport.

Tracks!

The f1 track of karting is PFI (tvkc). I wouldn’t consider going there for your first time in a go-kart. A good track to start off at is a track called Strubby (Woodthorpe Kart Club) which is in Lincolnshire. I currently race in the Juniormax section in the Super1 Championship and in the PF International Championship.
